6 SSB Interview Direct Entries

The Services Selection Board (SSB) interview is a crucial part of the selection process for candidates aspiring to join the Indian Armed Forces as officers. While many candidates go through exams like NDA, AFCAT, and CDS to get to the SSB interview stage, there are also direct entries for certain individuals based on their qualifications and expertise. As of my last knowledge update in January, here are six direct entries for the SSB interview:

1. Technical Graduate Course (TGC):
   - Engineering graduates, both male and female, can apply for the Technical Graduate Course (TGC) entry. The selection process includes a shortlisting based on academic qualifications, followed by an SSB interview.

2. SSC Tech Entry for Engineering Graduates
   - SSC Tech Entry for Engineering Graduates The Short Service Commission (SSC) Tech entry is a direct entry scheme for candidates who want to join the Indian Army as officers for a short term of service (usually 10 years) through Officer Training Academy (OTA) Chennai. The entry is also known as the SSC (Tech) Men and Women Entry Scheme. The scheme allows candidates from various engineering streams to apply for the Technical Branch of the Indian Army.

3. Short Service Commission (SSC) (Non-Technical/Men & Women):
   - SSC entry is available for both men and women in various non-technical fields like education, law, and other specialized areas. Candidates are shortlisted based on their qualifications, and those selected undergo an SSB interview.

4. NCC (National Cadet Corps) Special Entry Scheme:
   - NCC cadets holding 'C' Certificate are eligible for the NCC Special Entry Scheme. They can apply for direct entry to the Indian Army, Navy, or Air Force. SSB interviews are part of the selection process.

5. Army Dental Corps (ADC):
   - BDS/MDS-qualified dental surgeons can apply for a direct commission in the Army Dental Corps. The selection process includes a written exam, an interview, and a medical examination, including an SSB interview.

6. Judge Advocate General (JAG) Entry (Men & Women):
   - Law graduates (both men and women) can apply for the JAG entry to become legal officers in the Indian Army. The selection process involves a shortlisting based on qualifications and an SSB interview.

Note:
- Eligibility criteria and entry schemes may change, so it's essential to refer to the latest official notifications and guidelines provided by the respective branches of the Indian Armed Forces.
- As of my last update in January, there might be additional or revised direct entries for SSB interviews. Please check the official websites of the Indian Army, Navy, and Air Force for the most current information.

Candidates interested in these direct entries should carefully review the eligibility criteria, educational qualifications, and application procedures outlined in the official notifications.
