What is CUET?

Central Universities Common Entrance Test (CUET) is an all-India examination to be conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA) for admissions in undergraduate and postgraduate courses in various central & state universities of India including Delhi University, BHU, Allahabad University, Tezpur University, the University of Hyderabad amongst others.

Why CUET?

A common entrance test will not only eliminate the need to take multiple entrance exams but will also reduce the dependency on Class XII board exam marks. As per the proposed structure, CUET will have two papers:

CUET Participating Universities

CUET will be the mandatory admission test for universities established under an Act of Parliament and are under the control and purview of the Ministry of Education, Government of India. As of now, there are 54 central universities in India. The 54 Central Universities including Delhi University, Jamia Milia Islamia, together offer close to 1.68 Lac seats under various disciplines at the undergraduate level.
